Welcome to our online reference tool. This product has been designed to be an easy to use quick reference tool that will allow you to locate and review everyday tasks and shortcuts used in Microsoft Excel 2003.

There are three ways in which you can navigate this tool. The primary method is through the Contents pane located on the left side of the screen. The other methods of navigation allow you to pin point the desired topic by using an Index or a Search facility.

Navigation methods:

To Use the Contents Pane:

  1. Click the Contents button located in the upper left corner of the navigation frame.

  2. Click the desired section name to expand the tree structure and display a list of topics.

  3. Click the desired topic to display the content associated with that topic.

  4. If desired, click the Show It button to play a demonstration movie of the current topic. During the demonstration or once it has finished, you can close the demonstration window by selecting another topic. You can also use the playback controls to replay or navigate to a certain section of the demonstration.

To Use the Index:

  1. Click the Index button.

  2. Click the desired index entry to display the associated content.

  3. If desired, click the Show It button to play a demonstration movie of the current topic.

To Use the Search:

  1. Click the Search button.

  2. Type the desired keyword(s) in the search text box and press ENTER.

  3. Click the desired topic from the list of search results.

  4. If desired, click the Show It button to play a demonstration movie of the current topic.
